Laura Allison Wasser is an American
high profile attorney specializing in celebrity divorce cases. She has been
profiled in publications ranging from the Los Angeles Times to
Vanity Fair and has
represented the likes of Heidi Klum, Ashton Kutcher, Christina Aguilera and
Ryan Reynolds, as well as many pro bono clients from the Harriet Buhai Center
for Family Law.
Laura Allison Wasser’s services are used by many celebrity
couples in Hollywood, including Robyn Gibson, Kate Walsh, Britney Spears, Angelina
Jolie, and Kiefer Sutherland. Wasser also fill out a profile page on famous
magazines like Elle and Vogue, and even had a role as a consultant in the movie
Liar.
She
was born at Los Angeles in May 23, 1968. She graduated from Beverly Hills High
School and spent one year abroad in high school attending The American School
in Switzerland. She attended University of California, Berkeley and earned a
law degree from Loyola Law School in 1994.
Laura
Wasser was named one of Hollywood Reporter's 100 Power Lawyers in 2011, 2012
and 2013. She was also named one of the California Daily Journal's Top 100
Lawyers in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and one of Southern California’s Top 50 Women
Attorneys for 2012, 2013 and 2014. In June 2008, Wasser received the Harriett
Buhai Center for Family Law Zephyr M. Ramsey Award. In 2011, she was the
recipient of the Century City Chamber of Commerce Women of Achievement. She was
listed as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in 2012 and 2013 by the Los Angeles
Magazine Super Lawyers. In May 2012, Wasser was also named by the Daily Journal
in their list of the Top Women Lawyers. In May
2013, Wasser received the Brady Center Advocate Award.
